Mobile Response Stabilization Services (MRSS) Counselor Requirements - Bachelor's degree in social work, human service or behavioral science with two (2) year of experience in the field of chemical dependence or mental health treatment.

Maryhaven is looking for clinical staff to provide mobile crisis response to residents of Union County. You could be a part of a new evidenced based program developing in Union County Mobile Response Stabilization Service (MRSS) is a crisis response and stabilization program that pairs a clinical provider with a Parent Peer support. This team responds to the family for the initial crisis to complete the assessment and determine most appropriate ongoing plan. Follow up with this team and the family will occur for up to four weeks or until a warm hand off to the appropriate level of care need is made. This position would require mobile response to the family's home or where they are for initial crisis response. Some in office hours will also be required to provide the clinical follow up care to the MRSS families, these follow up visits may be at the home or by telehealth. Other hours of this position will be on call availability for families identified in need. The on-call availability would include 24/7, scheduled on a rotation. Under the direction of Site Supervisor, the MRSS Counselor will be responsible for providing mobile response and stabilization services to families who have called the crisis hotline. This may include substance use and mental health counseling, case management and treatment planning for clients who have been referred to Maryhaven for treatment.
